Actress Julia Roberts narrowly missed being hit by barricade at the Screen Actors Guild Awards
The Pretty Woman star narrowly missed being hit by a falling barricade as eager fans crushed to catch a glimpse of her.
Julia Roberts was walking down the red carpet greeting fans when in all the excitement the barrier toppled over – yikes!
Video shows the actress reaching in to shake hands with her admirers, before quickly jumping out of the way as the metal barrier came crashing down.
The actress explained that it was her first dangerous red carpet encounter, telling Giuliana Rancic that nothing like that had ever happened to her before.
“They are OK,” Roberts added.
“I checked everyone, I gave a little bit of CPR … everybody’s good.”
Roberts, and even some of the fans that fell over, appeared to be smiling and laughing after the potentially dangerous mishap.
