Adele: Donald Trump Has ‘No Permission’ to Use My Songs “Video”

Adele may not be happy that Donald Trump has been blasting “Rolling in the Deep” and “Skyfall” at his rallies across the country, but the singer hasn’t yet demanded he stop.

“Adele has not given permission for her music to be used for any political campaigning,” one of Adele’s reps told E!. So, Adele is banning the king of bans from playing her precious, award-winning hits during his godless rallies. This is too good, people.

Adele isn’t the only artist distancing her music from the Trump campaign. Donald had apparently been playing Aerosmith at rallies until Steven Tyler asked him to stop. E! obtained court documents from the incident and they read as follows: “Trump for President does not have our client’s permission to use ’Dream On’ or any of our client’s other music in connection with the campaign because it gives the false impression that [Tyler] is connected with or endorses Mr. Trump’s presidential bid.” Work that cease and desist, Steven.

Major artists typically don’t want their names attached to political candidates—well, Katy Perry shameless supports Hillary Clinton, so really it’s just that major artists don’t want their names attached to Trump. Given the obscene amount of ridiculous things he’s said, it’s no wonder.
