Beyonce and Jay Z will be performing together at the 56th annual Grammy Awards on January 26, it has been revealed.
CBS has confirmed the list of highest-of-high-profile performers in a commercial which listed both Beyonce and her 44-year-old rapper husband, Us Magazine reported.
Longtime Grammy Awards show producer Ken Ehrlich didn’t deny or confirm Beyonce’s appearance when asked by the Los Angeles Times, but he did say that he would love to work with her again.
“She’s incredible. She is so into what it is that she does and making sure that everybody who sees her walks away saying, ‘wow,’” he said. “Should she be on the show this year? I would think that the potential is there for that kind of moment.”
Now the big question: What song will Beyonce sing on music’s biggest night?
We are betting that Jayonce will perform their marital anthem ‘Drunk in Love,’ a fan favorite on Beyonce’s record-breaking self-titled album.
In any case, it should be a big night for Hov and Bey. Jay Z received nine nominations including one for Best Rap Album for ‘Magna Carter…Holy Grail.’
Beyonce and Jay Z join previously announced performers Kendrick Lamar, Macklemore, Robin Thicke, Daft Punk and John Legend.
The 56th Annual Grammy Awards will air live from Los Angeles on Jan. 26 at 8PM ET on CBS.
