Longtime ‘Jeopardy‘ host Alex Trebek has a way with words … or, at least, as Conan O’Brien imagines it, he has a way with saying his words. Trebek’s consistent cadence makes it incredibly easy for Conan to splice together the game-show host’s clues into a parody video of absolute gibberish, accompanied by a pack of slack-jawed contestants. Funny, right?
“Hello, Conan, you seem to be having a good time here today,” the 73-year-old TV personality says.

“Hello, Mr. Trebek. Obviously we’re all huge fans of your show. I was just doing that to have a little fun,” O’Brien replies, appearing a bit uncomfortable.
“That’s OK, I’m a big guy, I can look after myself,” Trebek responds, before adding, “But I’m here for another reason. I’m worried about you. I’ve been watching some of your monologues lately, and I’m concerned. I think you are starting to lose it. Take a look and see if you don’t agree.”
A mashup clip of Conan’s monologues is then played (which of course, includes a reference) before O’Brien declares “OK, Alex, I guess we’re even now.”
