Anderson Cooper was pranked during Monday night’s segment of The RidicuList and learned while reading the teleprompter on live television that his co-workers are not particularly fond of the basil-scented candle he keeps in his office.
Cooper was caught off guard, forced to discuss his smelly candle by reading the office’s thoughts live via teleprompter. In fact, he had to name off what the crew believed his offensive candle smelled like, and let us tell you, it wasn’t pretty.
They even equated the odor to the legendary scene in Anchorman, where Paul Rudd’s character wore the grossest cologne known to man. Way harsh, guys.
Of course, Cooper was able to take it like a champ, telling the office that they can return to smelling rotten cheese. The lesser of two evils, we suppose.
