After ending their two year marriage just a month ago, Avril Lavigne and Nickelback front man, Chad Kroeger, have uploaded a photo together while recording in the studio despite their recent break up.
“YeeHaw! Writing with Chad today,” she said alongside a photo of herself, in which she’s barefoot and wearing a cowgirl hat. She then shared a shot of the Nickelback frontman with a guitar, along with the caption “Back to where it all started.”
Lavigne and Kroeger previously recorded a song called “Let Me Go,” which was released in 2013.
“It is with a heavy heart that Chad and I announce our separation today. Through not only the marriage, but the music as well, we’ve created many unforgettable moments. We are still and forever will be, the best of friends, and will always care deeply for each other. To all our family, friends and fans, thank you sincerely for the support,” the singer wrote when she first shared news of the split.
