Kaley Cuoco is looking ahead. During an interview Tuesday on The Ellen DeGeneres Show to promote The Big Bang Theory’s 200th episode, the blonde talked about her ongoing divorce from Ryan Sweeting after just a year and a half of marriage. “I already feel like 2016 is going to be a much better year.”
“Yes, I’m getting divorced,” she admitted.
“You know, last year was very bizarre and we all go through really weird ups and downs.”
“I already feel like 2016 is going to be a much better year than 2015. And you know, it’s been rough, but things are going good.”
“I’m much, much better now. I’m in a much better place than I was.” she said with a smile.
The blonde beauty then went on to make a joke of the self-deprecating nature, cringing to herself as she admitted that the marriage only lasted a year and a half.
“I know. I know. I know. I had the date tattooed on my back and everything to remind me.” the Big Bang Theory star admitted.
“Maybe you should have put it on your front.” Ellen quipped, lightening the mood.
“Yeah, I know.” Kaley agreed. “Don’t tattoo wedding date. The tattoo was a mistake. I had to cover it, I had to cover it with the wings” she said before turning around to expose the large moth tattoo across her shoulders.
Like most of us did when we first saw the ink, Ellen made the assumption that the moth represented Kaley’s escape from the dark and longing for the light, but alas, the real purpose behind the choice of tattoo was simply to cover the date of the ill-fated nuptials.
“Because, it was big enough to cover the numbers… big wings,” she said, laughing. “’It’s just what I picked out when I was there.”
The 30-year-old has been making all sorts of headlines lately, what with the 200th episode of her hit show The Big Bang Theory airing shortly, and her recent racy performance on the US show, Lip Sync Battle.
