Brad Arnold Kicks Out Fan After Violence Erupts During Show.
The incident in question took place at the band’s Broomfied, Colorado show on July 14. In a clip posted to YouTube by guitarist Chris Henderson, Arnold stops the band mid-song when he sees a man pushing a woman in the crowd.
“Hang on, hang on, hang on,” Arnold tells the fan in the video. “Hey, hey homie. You don’t hit a woman. You just pushed a woman out of the way to get in a fight, you d–k! Get him the hell out of here. You don’t hit a woman, dude.”
The video ended before we could see what happened to the man who hit a woman. But Henderson wrote on YouTube that the guy was escorted out of the arena. The guitarist even titled the video, “Brad kicking a dude out of the show! Just another reason I’m proud to be in this band!!”
In the video, the 3 Doors Down fans cheered as the man was kicked out of the concert for hitting a woman. And many online were also quick to praise Arnold for his actions.
3 Doors Down has always been one of my favorite bands, but this makes me love them even more. Good job, Brad! http://t.co/srTodqiTsC

Even better, this apparently was not the first time Arnold stood up for a fan at a 3 Doors Down show. Another man noted on Facebook that Arnold previously gave a young kid an unforgettable experience after he was pushed aside by a larger man during a concert.
“Great band!” wrote Calvin Hennegar. “Brad did something similar at a show in Corpus Christi, TX a few years ago when one of the band members threw the kid a guitar pick some big guy pushed the kid out of the way to get it. Brad saw it and pulled the kid up and stage to rock with them and then took him backstage. Always taking care of their fans!”
But Henderson told Time that this was the first time the 3 Doors Down singer had actually stopped a show because of a fight in the crowd. “[The man pushing the woman was] a pretty insulting incident,” the guitarist said. “When he did it, I was like, ‘Man, I’m really glad you did that, because that was gonna get really ugly really quick.’”
Oddly, after the show, Arnold questioned whether he should have stopped the show to kick out the man who hit a woman. But Henderson reassured his bandmate that he was right to do so.
