Lily Allen is finding her post-baby body blitz “hard”, but is “totally on track”.
The British star gave birth to daughter Ethel Mary in November and is reportedly keen to drop the extra pounds she gained while pregnant.
The 26-year-old songstress is said to be finding going to the gym an arduous task, but is determined to shape up.
“Lily’s finding it hard. She really hates the gym and doesn’t like being on a diet. She struggles with willpower and ends up feeling guilty if she falls off the wagon,” a source told British magazine Closer.
“At the moment she’s around a [UK] size 12 on the bottom and a 10 on top. She would like to be a toned size 10, so she’s totally on track, but she feels it’s taking a while.”
Lily is allegedly leaving her wardrobe re-vamp for the time being as she is still getting used to being a mother.
However, friends of the brunette star say her new healthy routine is working wonders.
“Lily looks great at the moment, but she’s sticking to baggy clothes. She’s joked there’s no point ditching her maternity clothes anyway because she’s always covered in baby sick! She’s knackered too but it’s getting easier,” a friend continued.
“Ethel’s sleeping more now and Lily’s ready to start getting out and about again. She’s not really feeling confident enough to get dressed up, but [her husband] Sam’s always encouraging her and always tells her she looks fabulous.
“But she’s still really happy – she says if she could just magic her body into shape, everything would be perfect!”
