Christina Booth, a woman in Washington State has been charged with attempted murder after she cut the throats of her three children in order to keep them quiet, authorities said.
Christina Booth was being held in jail on $3 million bail on three counts of attempted murder of a child.
Her 6-month-old twin daughters and a 2-year-old daughter suffered knife cuts to their throats shortly after 1 a.m. Sunday.
According to police reports, Booth told investigators she hit her “breaking point” when one of her daughters started crying.
Police said Booth told them she cut her daughters throats with a kitchen knife.
Investigators said Christina Booth repeatedly said, “They will be quiet now.”
Detectives also said Booth told them her husband, Thomas Booth, is annoyed by the crying and rarely helps care for the children.
