The US Coast Guard rescues father and son sailors off Nantucket during storm.
At about 5 a.m., a sailboat named “The Sedona” with a father and son on board had problems due to the storm. They were about 140 miles off the coast of Nantucket when an emergency beacon was sent out.

The Coast Guard said the Australian father and son called for help around 5 a.m. when their 43-foot boat lost powerand had its sails torn. The helicopter reached them about 9 a.m. She said it took about two hours to pick up the men in 60 mph winds and 25-foot seas.
No one was hurt but the men were taken to a hospital to be evaluated for hypothermia.
The men said the bought their boat on eBay and left from Rhode Island on Friday.
