Courteney Cox will return to television in new Fox pilot Charity Case.
The Friends star will play Hailey in Charity Case, with Fox giving the show an official pilot order, TVLine reports.
On inheriting her billionaire husband’s charity, Hailey finds out that “changing the world is far less glamorous than she had imagined”.
Cox will also be executive producer on the project, together with its writer Robert Padnick and its director James Griffiths.
After Friends ended in 2004, Cox starred in FX drama Dirt from 2007 to 2008 and ABC/TBS sitcom Cougar Town from 2009 to 2015.
She and her Friends co-stars Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc and David Schwimmer recently reunited to record a special tribute to director James Burrows, which will air on NBC on Sunday, February 21 at 9/8c.
Matthew Perry was unable to join the filming due to his theatre commitments in London.
