Actress and mother to Carrie Fisher Debbie Reynolds cause of death is finally revealed.
The death certificate for the Star Wars actress showed she suffered a fatal heart attack.
But questions still surround what actually caused the 60-year-old to suffer a cardiac arrest on a flight from London to Los Angeles.
According to TMZ, the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office will perform toxicology tests to see if drugs could have been a factor in her death.
The pilot fought to save her life after she fell ill on the flight.
Mum Debbie passed away a day after her daughter’s death. The certificate reveals the 84-year-old suffered an intracerebral haemorrhage, caused by a ruptured blood vessel that led to bleeding in her brain.
The results came after the Hollywood stars were remembered during a special tribute at the Golden Globes on Sunday evening.
Carrie and Debbie were laid to rest next to each other at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Los Angeles, with a small urn of Carrie’s ashes – shaped like a giant Prozac pill – buried next to her late mother in line with both their wishes.
A public memorial is to be held later in the year.
