Debra Messing has no problem about kissing and telling when it comes to her least-favourite co-star on Will & Grace: Entourage’s Jeremy Piven.
The 46-year-old starred in the hit sitcom from 1998 until 2006. And in series three, Entourage actor Jeremy guest starred as a former flame of Grace’s, but it wasn’t an experience Debra recalls overly fondly.
“You know who, at the time, I wasn’t a fan of’ Jeremy Piven,” she confessed during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live. “You know, I had to kiss a lot of boys on that show. And we were rehearsing, and the very first day of rehearsal, he shoved his tongue all the way down to my heart. I was just like, ‘Whoa!’ He goes, ‘Yeah, yeah,’ He was like, ‘That’s it, I’m in.’ I was like, ‘You know, this is comedy. We don’t really go that deep.’ And every time he went for it.”
The episode saw Grace agree to a threesome with her ex-boyfriend, played by Jeremy, and his new girlfriend, only to realise she can’t go through with it.
Debra got to get up close and personal with a lot of actors during the show’s run, including Woody Harrelson and Harry Connick, Jr. The American Idol judge and singer played Grace’s husband Leo from 2002 to 2006 and when asked who her favourite guest was, Harry came out on top.
Before naming Jeremy as her least favourite, host Andy Cohen mentioned Bobby Cannavale, who played Will’s boyfriend in later series, as a contender.
“Oh my god, are you kidding’ No! We loved each other,” Debra insisted.
