Sad news regarding Diem Brown of MTV’s ‘The Challenge,’ as it’s been revealed that the reality star is battling cancer for the third time.
Her sister Megan told People that doctors found a tumor blocking her colon.
She added: “They were able to remove the mass, but once they were inside they found out there were multiple tumors.”
After undergoing a second surgery brave Diem is currently resting at New York City Hospital and is in a stable condition.
Once she recovers she will undergo chemotherapy treatments.
The former MTV Real World Road Rules Challenge contestant was first diagnosed with ovarian cancer, aged just 23, before it returned again several years later in 2012.
She said: “Cancer changed who I am. It sounds like a cliche, but I’ve got this one life, and I need to live every day to the fullest. I’m a lot more appreciative of things now.”
