A GPS system in an alleged killer’s car led investigators to the body of Erica Crippen, a Mount Laurel woman missing since January, authorities said Wednesday.
An electrical cord was wrapped around her neck, hands and feet, and there was Duct tape covering her nose and face.
[fwdevp preset_id=”8″ video_path=”J__Vt1i0w-A”]Her husband Kyle Crosby, 28, has been charged with murder in Crippen’s death. At the time of her disappearance Crippen was living with Crosby in Mount Laurel, their baby girl and her own 7-year-old daughter from another relationship.
Crosby’s 67-year-old mother, Jo, has been charged with hindering and tampering with physical evidence in the case.
“We believe Jo Crosby played a major role in helping her son Kyle conceal the crime of murder,” Prosecutor Bernardi said. “She assisted his efforts to conceal the body of his wife, Erica Crippen, after he took her life.”
