Eugene Bostick, texas man rescues stray dogs and drives them around in custom built train.
80-year-old Eugene Bostick from Texas operates the vehicle with his brother – which takes rescued strays out for fun rides around the neighbourhood.
“They were strayed and we started picking them up,” Eugene told NBC5.
Eugene and his brother Corky live on a street where many locals bring their unwanted dogs.
Eugene says he began adopting them and taking them for rides with his tractor.
Every morning, the brothers wake up to feed the wildlife on the land – and make sure the dogs enjoy their day as well.
“I started out with my tractor. I had a little trailer and I put four or five dogs in there and took them riding. Then more dogs started to show up and I said, ‘Uh-oh! That’s not enough room!’. That’s when I came up with that”.
The twice-weekly ride for the pooches runs straight through the Sycamore Golf Course – but nobody seems to mind.
