The Tragically Hip’s August 18th show at Canadian Tire Centre is once again sold out.
Fans of the Tragically Hip got a second chance at scoring tickets to their upcoming tour Tuesday morning. The stage was redesigned to accommodate more people and at 10 a.m, those seats went on sale.
People took their chances online and in person, lining up at Save-on-Food’s Memorial Centre, some getting there hours early, but those extra seats sold out extremely quickly.
Only the first few people in line were able to score tickets and many went home disappointed.
The tour was announced a day after the band revealed that singer Gord Downie had been diagnosed with terminal brain cancer.
