The ladies of Fifth Harmony hit the stage for an awesome performance to close the show at the 2016 MuchMusic Video Awards on Sunday night (June 19) at MuchMusic HQ in Toronto, Canada.
Before Fifth Harmony even got to sing, the group won the very first MuchMusic Video Awards trophy. The women took home the award for “Most Buzzworthy International Artist or Group” for their song “Work From Home.” Not long afterwards, group member Camila Capello won “Best Pop Video” with Shawn Mendes for “I Know What You Did Last Summer.” Fifth Harmony then won “Fan Fave International Artist or Group” still before hitting the stage. The group was also up for the “iHeartRadio International Duo or Group” award (also for “Work From Home”).
Cabello, Normani Kordei, Dinah Jane, Lauren Jauregui, and Ally Brooke have recently performed the hit song at a number of award shows. A little more a than a week ago they mashed up “Work From Home” with country music singer Cam’s latest single, “Mayday.” Fifth Harmony also performed “Work From Home” at the Billboard Music Awards a few weeks earlier. And the group sang the catchy tune three weeks ago outside the “Today Show” studio. And while it rained that day, it certainly didn’t stop the women from performing or the crowds from showing up to Rockefeller Center to cheer them on.
