It could be an advantage to look similar to a Hollywood star. Well, it has been for a man who looks similar to George Clooney. The man was offered £5,000 by a businessman to sleep with his wife on her birthday.
The deal was offered by the businessman because his wife is crazy for the Hollywood star. The tempting offer was however rejected by Gary Tate, because he felt it was wrong. The businessman wanted to give her wife a gift that could really make her happy on her 40th birthday.
Tate told the Kentish Express: “When I asked why he would want me to do that he said, ‘We have an open relationship, she’s mad about Clooney, and I can’t get him so I’m asking you.'”
He confessed to seriously thinking about the offer.
But he said: “I was single at the time, so I wouldn’t have hurt anyone by doing it — but it just felt so wrong that I turned it down.”
Tate, who’s been impersonating the Ocean’s Eleven star since 1997, said it was just one of the bizarre incidents experienced since he began living the double life of one of the world’s most famous men.
Others include an all-expenses paid two-day trip to Las Vegas for just two minutes’ work and playing cameo roles in several films.
