A girl gave free testicle exams for charity on Nov. 19, which marks International Men’s Day. Focusing on male health, the event aims to raise awareness for testicular cancer, highlight positive male role models, improve gender relations, and promote gender equality.
The slightly awkward video shows the group approaching random men on the and offering them free exams. A lot of men were obviously sceptical about having a public testicle exam, however they managed to get six to agree.
Whilst it might seem silly, the video has a serious message which ties in with today’s International Men’s Day, as it is attempting to raise awareness for testicular cancer.
The YouTubers donated $100 for every man that agreed, and for every 100k views the video gets, they’re donating an additional $100 to the Movember campaign. You can donate to Movember here .
Movember attempts to raise awareness for mens health including mental health issues and things to watch out for such as symptoms of prostate cancer. You can find out more about the campaign, as well as how to check yourself (or a friend!) for testicular cancer here .
International Men’s Day focuses on men’s and boys’ health, improving gender relations, promoting gender equality and highlighting positive male role models.
