Isabella: Little girl receives 3-D Printed arm ‘Video’

Isabella, Little girl unwraps and uses 3-D printed arm for the first time.

Stephen Davies is a volunteer for e-NABLE, a global charity that brings together people with 3D printing and design skills to create free prosthetic hands for anyone in need.

He uploaded a video of the first recipient of one of his 3D printed arms: a disabled eight-year-old girl who had a moving reaction to receiving her first prosthetic limb.

He says: ‘This is the first arm I built for e-NABLE. This is eight-year-old Isabella.’

She unwraps the box, sees what’s inside, and her face lights up.

And then she gets started on using her new 3D arm for the very first time.

All with a huge smile.
