Sex sells. Jessica Alba gets that — especially since her new character in Sin City: A Dame To Kill For simply oozes sex appeal.
But, despite her on-screen persona, the mother-of-two insists she’s a prude in real life.
Speaking to Entertainment Weekly magazine – which she fronts, emerging from a swimming pool in a white bikini – Jessica says: “I never slept my way through Hollywood, so I never felt like I compromised.
“Apparently people do it. I didn’t. I felt like I never compromised myself because I’m a prude. I don’t know. I grew up Catholic. In my head I’m always thinking, ‘Oh God, can my grandma see this?’ ”
Jessica – who started her film career aged 13 before getting her big break appearing on the remake of TV series ‘Flipper’ in 1995 – has daughters Honor, five, and Haven, two, with husband Cash Warren, which she says has changed her attitude to her diet and made her stop trying to be “perfect”, as she wants to set a good example for her children.
She said: “As I’ve gotten older and after I became a mom, it became more of a priority to be healthy for the right reasons. It’s more important to have a balanced approach instead of trying to be perfect.”
