Joe Francis, the Girls Gone Wild creator, was arrested Friday night for allegedly assaulting an employee.
The incident happened on Friday evening according to TMZ when Francis tried to enter the building despite the fact that there is a restraining order preventing him from coming within 100 feet of the premises.
An employee reportedly got involved in a shoving match with the company’s founder at the entrance to the soft porn office – the police were then called with Francis being arrested and subsequently booked for a misdemeanor battery.
The troubled mogul was released at 6:21 a.m. Saturday after posting a $20,000 bail. He’s due in court on June 11.
