Justin Bieber : Argentina Judge Orders Singer to Appear on Assault Case

Justin Bieber has been summoned for questioning in Argentina over an alleged attack involving his bodyguards during a South American tour last year. The 20-year-old singer has been given a 60-day deadline to appear before a court in the country.

The judge says that if Bieber fails to comply, an international arrest order will be issued.

The photographer, Diego Pesoa, has accused the Canadian singer and one of his bodyguards of lashing out at him when he tried to take a picture of him as he left the club in the capital’s fashionable Palermo Hollywood neighbourhood.

“Bieber has to come to Argentina, and it won’t be to sing,” Mr Pesoa’s lawyer, Matias Morla, told local TV channel C5N.

Bieber would face up to one year in prison if he was convicted on a charge of causing minor injuries.

The 20-year-old has had a string of run-ins with the law in several countries, including Canada and the US.
