Karrueche Tran and ex-boyfriend Chris Brown may still reconcile.
“I’m single, and I’m not getting with anyone,” she wrote. “Geez, Louise.” The post was shared hundreds of times and drew more than 1,000 likes from her 656,000 followers. But the 27-year-old model seemingly had a different attitude when she did an on-air interview with Ryan Seacrest on Thursday. Even though she tweeted that she wasn’t in a relationship, she didn’t count Brown out of her future.
“Us getting back together, I can’t say,” she said. “I don’t know what the future holds. As of right now, I’m just completely focused on myself. I’m not trying to date anybody. I just want to figure out me. There’s no drama between us. It’s peaceful, it’s cordial.”
It’s ironic that she was so open with Seacrest, especially since she slammed Brown for talking to the radio host in June. “Don’t be mad at me because our relationship is over due to your lack of loyalty,” she said in part of her Instagram post.
Tran has always been indecisive when it comes to Brown. Now, despite him cheating on her with Nia Guzman and fathering a daughter, Royalty, she still can’t count him out. The two have had a tumultuous on-again, off-again relationship for years, with many of their battles taking place in a public arena: social media. She addressed their past squabbles with Ryan Seacrest.
“It’s unfortunate that sometimes it does go a little too left, and things are said that probably shouldn’t be said online,” she said. “I couldn’t even think to date somebody right now. Yeah, I just don’t even want to go down that road. I feel like all guys are the same.”
Since stating that she believes “all guys are dogs,” Tran has led some to believe that she might be interested in women. She posted an Instagram photo of “Orange Is the New Black” star Ruby Rose last month and said she “wasn’t straight anymore,” then went out to dinner with Rose shortly after. Then, on the same day that she did the Seacrest interview, she posed for another picture with the Australian beauty, who had apparently just been interviewed by the “American Idol” host as well.
