Kat Von D’s infamous tattoo shop, High Voltage Tattoo, caught fire in the early morning of Thursday, Oct. 23. It was put out less than a half hour later, but the reality television star unleashed a torrent of fury on surrounding photographers and media following the blaze, telling them that they should be ashamed of themselves for making such a public spectacle of her tragedy.
CBS Los Angeles reported that Von D got violent with with the news crews filming the incident. “You guys want a f***ing interview, seriously? You guys, come on. Have some f***ing respect. Seriously, do you feel better about yourself? Oh yeah, get the lens, you f***ing idiot,” Von D said.
CBS says she went after a camerawoman, pushing her camera, and then knocking off the woman’s hat. She also went after another crew’s camera. When L.A. County Sheriff’s Dept. deputies told her to stop what she was doing, she disregarded their warnings and went back at it with the CBS camerawoman.
