Kate Upton has been named as the sexiest woman alive by People Magazine. The actress and supermodel took the coveted title at the People Magazine Awards in LA.

The award was an honor for Kate Upton – and her baseball player boyfriend, Justin Verlander, to whom People Magazine reported that she said “you’re welcome” for being sexy. For Upton’s younger brother, though, the moment was a bit awkward.
“I’m so, so sorry to my 18-year-old brother,” said Kate Upton during her acceptance speech. “Poor David!” –People Magazine
Other big moments included a steamy interaction between “The Mindy Project” costars Mindy Kaling and Chris Messina who won the award for on-screen couple.
While accepting the award, Messina stared passionately into Kaling’s eyes as the crowd waited for them to kiss. They did not; but there was some action, according to People Magazine.
“Wait, is your hand on my butt?” asked Messina. “No, no, no,” Kaling said. – People Magazine
Among other winners, Jennifer Aniston was named best actress for her role in “Cake” and Michael Keaton took the top male acting prize for “Birdman.”
