Kim Zolciak suffered a mini stroke on Wednesday following a flight from Los Angeles to Atlanta.
Kim Zolciak revealed the news early Thursday morning on Instagram with a selfie from her hospital bed, assuring fans that she’s doing much better.
“The last 24hrs have been whirlwind! I landed yesterday morning from LAX (took the red eye right after DWTS) I got home and within minutes suffered a TIA (mini stroke) the left side of my body went completely numb and my speech was gone,” Zolciak, 37, captioned the photo. She thanked her husband, Kroy Biermann, and eldest daughter, Brielle, for their “quick reactions.”
“I have 100%of my feeling back THANK GOD. Still in the hospital but I just know I’m getting released today!” she added.
Though it’s not clear at this time what caused the mini-stroke, Zolciak’s time on DWTS has certainly been stressful. The reality star has suffered low scores and ridicule, struggling through her performances.
