Dancing With The Stars pro Lindsay Arnold marries her high school sweetheart.
Linsday Arnold is accustomed to helping other people shine as a pro on Dancing with the Stars, but the 21-year-old was the one in the spotlight Thursday when she walked down the aisle to wed her high school sweetheart.
“I’ve loved Sam since I was 16 years old and today I officially get to spend the rest of my life with him,” she told Us Weekly in a statement, “through giggles and tears, and every moment in between!”
She also noted to People how amazing it is that she met her future husband, who’s currently still in college, at such a young age. “I could never have imagined that when I was 16 years old I would have met the man I would marry and who would be my partner – yesterday, today and tomorrow,” she told the magazine.
The couple’s wedding day had multiple parts to it. It kicked off with a small Mormon ceremony at Salt Lake Temple at around 10:30 a.m. For the afternoon, the couple, who got engaged this past December, exchanged rings in front of about 150 guests just outside of the city. Lindsay and Sam then held a formal sit-down dinner, which was followed by a packed dance reception for 400 guests. We’re tired just thinking about all of that. Thankfully, celebrity wedding planner Danielle Rothweiler figured the entire marathon wedding event out.
