Ludacris Wins Custody Battle After Duking It Out With Baby Mama Tamika Fuller, a judge gave the 37-year-old rapper, born Christopher Bridges, full custody of the 13-month-old baby Monday, according to TMZ. Ludacris and the child’s mother, Tamika Fuller, had been locked in a bitter custody battle over the infant.
[fwdevp preset_id=”8″ video_path=”yuA6TJDj8zE”]“After review of all the evidence, the testimony of the witnesses, the report of the guardian ad litem, and the claims made throughout this entire case, I am gratified that the judge found me to be the most fit and proper parent to have primary physical custody of our beautiful daughter,” Ludacris told PEOPLE in a statement.
The site reported that during the litigation, Tamika asked for an increase in Ludacris’ child support payments and made allegations about the rapper initially being against the pregnancy. The “2 Fast 2 Furious” actor fired back at Tamika, saying her claims were damaging his reputation and emphasizing the reasons why he would provide a better environment for Cai.
The court’s decision came one month after Ludacris tied the knot with his longtime love Eudoxie Mbouguiengue, allegedly on the same day he proposed. Earlier this month, the “Act a Fool” rapper and his now-wife shared on Instagram some photos from their nuptials. “Why wait? Did the thing before 2015. #mrandmrsrbridges,” he captioned one of the photos.
Ludacris will reprise his role as Tej Parker in “Furious 7”. Other original cast members like Vin Diesel, Paul Walker and Michelle Rodriguez will also be back in their respective roles. The seventh installment of “Fast and Furious” film series is set to hit U.S. theaters on April 3.
