The pair first dated and broke up in 2007, before reuniting in 2012. However, they have decided to go their separate ways due to their busy work schedules, US Weekly reports.
“It didn’t make sense of them to be together right now,” sources told the magazine. Kelly and Evans’ breakup was amicable, and “they still care about each other”, sources said.
Friday Night Lights actor Kelly is currently filming the new sci-fi show Almost Human in Vancouver, Canada, while Captain America star Evans is preparing to direct a film in New York City.
Chris is currently busy directing his first film 1:30 Train; a dark tale of A young woman who is robbed as she races to catch the a train from New York City to Boston, leaving her lost in the dark underbelly of New York at night with nothing and no one.
He’s also busy with the promotion of Captain America: The Winter Soldier, the sequel to the 2011 box office hit Captain America: The First Avenger, due out in spring 2014.
Meanwhile Minka is filming sci-fi show Almost Human in Vancouver, Canada.
Prior to getting back together with Chris, 33-year-old Minka dated New York Yankees baseball star Derek Jeter for three years.
Minka seems to have taken to photography in the wake of the reported split, and has posted a series of seasonal Autumnal photos on her Instagram account while she’s away filming.
She captioned one picture of a moss covered branch with “You sexy moss, you.”
