Minnesota Bank Robbery Live! Suspect robs bank for second time during live TV bank robbery report (Video)

A news crew was broadcasting live from the scene of a bank robbery in Rochester, Minnesota Tuesday when the suspected robber returned to the scene.

WCCO noted that reporter Adam Sallet from KIMT News 3, was doing a live report about repeated robberies at the Sterling State Bank branch when the suspect ran by.

A bank employee was running after the alleged robber and pointed and said to Sallet, “It’s that guy right there!”

Sallet then turned back to the camera and had to cut the report short so he could contact the police.

“This is live TV, folks,” he said. “That’s the robber, just went by, according to the bank employee. So, I’ve got to go here and call 911. I’ll talk to you later.”

Back in the studio, the desk anchor looked a bit stunned and assured viewers that nothing was staged and that the suspect was in fact fleeing at that exact moment.

The suspect did initially get away but as People reported, officers eventually caught up with the man identified as 36-year-old Ryan Russell Liskow.

After he was apprehended Sterling State Bank released a statement saying that it is “thankful that none of our employees were harmed during the robberies that took place at our North Rochester office. We are also grateful for the fast, professional response from law enforcement in arresting a suspect in these robberies. It is our sincere hope that this individual will not be able to cause any further harm.”
