New Music : Lana Del Rey Shares “Shades of Cool”

Two days after reportedly performing at Kanye West and Kim Kardashian’s pre-wedding party in Florence, Lana Del Rey has shared the second song from her ‘Ultraviolence’ record.

“Shades of Cool” is fairly by-the-number Lana, utilizing Bond-soundtrack atmospherics, symphonic arrangements and the singer’s smoky voice. That said, she continues to work the cinematic angle well across the nearly six-minute track.
