Nicholas Brendon said he was entering rehab for the second time this year to fix some issues. The “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” alum, who was arrested for domestic violence late last month, revealed that he had suicidal thoughts.
“I’m going to be going into a 90-day treatment program to fix myself and to understand the traumas of my mind,” he said. “I love and appreciate you all so much.
“Thank you for having my back. Life is worth living, so let’s f**king live it!”
Nicholas Brendon posted again hours later, and hopes some good will come out of him openly talking about his struggles.
“I can’t tell you how much your support and kind comments mean to me,” he wrote. “I love you all so much, and if I can help just one person by sharing my struggles and how I’m battling them, then it’s all completely worth it.
“It’s been bad for me the last three years, and I’ve had failed attempts at suicide. I really just want to live and love and be filled with joy.
“I’m not perfect and I’m the first to admit that I’ve made mistakes, but I’m trying and will continue to try until I’m not walking this earth anymore.”
Nicholas Brendon was recently arrested following a domestic dispute with his girlfriend. It is the fourth time the actor has been held this year.
He also entered rehab in June to get treatment for depression, alcoholism and substance abuse problems.
