Nicki Minaj’s tour manager killed, De’Von Pickett, 29, of the Bronx, New York, was stabbed to death in Philadelphia’s West Oak Lane neighbourhood early Wednesday morning, NBC confirmed.
Police said that Pickett, fellow tour manager Eric Reed, 27, and three other friends got into an argument with a group of other men inside Che Bar & Grill at around 2.35am, which then spread onto the street.

Pickett and Reed were taken to Albert Einstein Medical Center after being stabbed by someone in the altercation. Pickett died from his injuries and Reed is in a fair condition.

The suspect is described as a 30-year-old man, around 5’8″, weighing around 160 pounds and with a full beard. He was wearing a black and grey jacket and driving a grey Buick LeSabre.
“Two members of my team were stabbed last night in Philly. One was killed. They had only been there for two days rehearsing for the tour,” Minaj said.
She added: “These guys flew into Philly for my tour rehearsals 2 days ago and were both stabbed last night.
“#RIPDAYDAY condolences to your family. Unbelievable. Eric (on the right) is recovering. Another senseless act of violence that took the life of a great guy. So sad.”
