Break out the candy cigars: It’s a boy for Awkward star Nikki DeLoach!
On Tuesday, the 34-year-old actress and her husband Ryan Goodell brought their first child into the world in Los Angeles. “Mom and baby are doing well, and the new parents are overjoyed at the arrival of their first child,” the star’s representative tells Us Magazine.
The baby will reportedly be known as Hudson, and weighed in at 6lbs and 15oz.
Hudson’s birth came on the same day as the midseason premiere of his mother’s MTV series Awkward, in which she plays the mother of Jenna Hamilton (Ashley Rickards).
She recently told MTV about becoming a mother: “I know that this is going to change my life, and change my heart forever – it already has.
“Your love grows bigger and bigger, and I didn’t even realise I had the capacity to love something so much. I can only imagine how much bigger that’s going to get when I see his little face.”
Deloach married entertainment lawyer Goodell in September 2009. She is also known for her roles in Ringer, Love & Other Drugs and Days of Our Lives.
