They tied the knot in France over the weekend in front of friends and family.
And Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez looked proud to show off their matching gold wedding rings as they jetted back to Los Angeles after their nuptials.
Both Halle and Olivier appeared to have oped for the same simple designs – a thick band in a yellow-gold colour with slightly rounded edges.
The couple, who became engaged in March 2012, said “I do” in front of 60 of their closest friends and family at the picturesque church before heading to the nearby Chateau de Conde where they carried on the celebrations.
Going for a laidback look, the X Men star wore her cropped hair relaxed and donned a white dress with heavily embroidered wide straps for the occasion with the actress looking understandably nervous as she arrived at the church.
Halle did try to hide herself as she arrived for the ceremony, with huge white sheets erected around the entrance of the church to keep her hidden, though clearly she wasn’t able to stay completely hidden and was spotted ariving in a white car, adorned with fabric, on Saturday afternoon.
Armed police were also out in force to ensure the couple were given some privacy on their happy day and kept photographers at bay as guests arrived.
After tying the knot the wedding party headed to the nearby 16th century Chateau de Conde where they enjoyed dinner and a firework display, set around water, fire and snow in the gardens of the stunning chateau gardens, according to owner Patrice Vansteenberghe.
Speaking to Access Hollywood a day after th event, he claimed the Oscar winner Berry and her French fiance were over-joyed during the intimate occasion.
“[They] were very beautiful and very happy,” he gushed.
Describing the 46 year-old’s dress he said: “All I can say is that it was a dress with a deeply plunging back.”
The marriage, confirmed by Berry’s publicist Meredith O’Sullivan Wasson, with the utmost privacy, with Vansteenberghe claiming, “she wanted to be left alone on the day of her marriage.”
