A Filipino crew member died and four others were critically injured when a lifeboat fell off the world’s biggest cruise liner.
Four others were injured when the lifeboat they were in fell from the fifth deck to the water, 33 feet below. Two of the crew members are hospitalized with life-threatening injuries. The accident happened during a stopover in Marseille, the BBC reports. Operator Royal Caribbean says it is “keeping our colleagues and their families in our thoughts and prayers.”
Harmony of the Seas first set sail with passengers this May, and can hold more than 8,000 people. The mega-ship is taller than a 25-story building, the length of four football fields, and boasts 20 restaurants, 23 swimming pools, a theater, shops, and a casino.
