OnePlus X now available to buy in US And Canada

After the long wait, the new OnePlus X is officially available for purchase for users in the U.S. and Canada. The announcement was made via the official OnePlus Twitter account.

Speaking of price, the OnePlus X will set the buyers back by $249. It’s an unlocked device. As of today, the handset can be purchased in Onyx color. Plus, the company has listed five varieties of protective cases namely Bamboo, Karbon, Black Apricot, Rosewood and Sandstone. The sale apparently started yesterday i.e. Nov. 19.

As far as the specifications go, GSM Arena said, the OnePlus X carries a 5.0-inch display, packed with 1080p screen resolution. Under the hood, the device comes powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor and backed by 3 GB of RAM. Plus, Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS runs the handset, straight out of the box.

When it comes to camera configuration, a 13-megapixel rear-facing sensor with phase detection, autofocus and LED flash are on board. In addition, there is also a generous 8-megapixel front-facing snapper for selfies and video chats.

The phone comes equipped with 16 GB of native storage space with microSD card slot for further expansion. Apart from the standard connectivity options, this device also supports 4G LTE. Other key OnePlus X features include dual-SIM support and a modest 2,525 mAh battery cell.
