The B.C. College of Physicians and Surgeons is urging all patients of a suspected fake plastic surgeon in Delta to get tested for Hepatitis B, C, and HIV.
On Dec. 20, the CPSBC, assisted by Delta Police, seized items Zhuo (Sabrina) Li allegedly used to provide cosmetic medical services it says she is not qualified or legally authorized to perform. Investigators raided the home at 10519 Modesto Drive after receiving an emailed tip from a concerned neighbour.
The college’s CEO, Dr Heidi Oetter says three customers suffered “wound infections,” adding there are also concerns over such basics as a lack of sterilization, and says the Botox supplies weren’t acquired through the proper channels.
“To where they came from, we don’t know… We anticipate others may be interested in that once the sealing order is lifted.”
The college says she’s not a qualified medical professional.
