A full inquest into the death of Peaches Geldof will begin on Wednesday and will establish if she took her own life.
The mother-of-two, who is the daughter of Boomtown Rats star Bob Geldof, was found dead at her home in Kent in April following a suspected heroin overdose.
A post-mortem carried out on April 9 at Darent Valley Hospital in Dartford proved to be “inconclusive”, so samples of her blood and tissue were sent off to the laboratory for toxicology testing, which later revealed that the Class-A drug had been in her system.
The 25-year-old star’s mother Paula Yates also died from the same substance in 2000, leaving behind daughters Peaches, Pixie, Fifi and Tiger-Lily.
Geldof – who had reportedly become increasingly obsessed with her mother’s death – was laid to rest at St Mary Magdalene and St Lawrence Church in Davington, Kent, on Easter Sunday.
