Prince Harry Meghan wax figures, Now that’s what I call…Petty™

Prince Harry Meghan wax figures, Now that’s what I call…Petty™.

We have yet another update in the never-ending saga that is Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Quit the Royal Family, y’all. Clearly, this will not be ending anytime soon, so everyone’s chiming in with how they feel about Meghan and Harry stepping down from their duties as senior royals. Piers Morgan has done it. Princess Diana’s former chef put in his two cents too! And now, Madame Tussauds—yes, a museum—is telling the world what it thinks by throwing some massive shade. Never thought wax figures could contribute to the cultural conversation, but here we are!

In literally the most dramatic press release ever, Madame Tussauds London announced that Meghan’s and Harry’s wax figures will be removed from the museum’s royal family display. The display includes Queen Elizabeth, Prince Philip, Prince William, and Kate Middleton, so now there’s a big fat empty space where Meghan and Harry used to be.

“Last night, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex shocked the nation by announcing that they are to ‘step back as senior members of the royal family,’ dividing their time between the UK and North America,” the press release read. “To reflect the upcoming change in the royal lineup, Madame Tussauds London will be moving its Harry and Meghan figures from its royal set with immediate effect.”

But if that wasn’t already dramatic enough, Madame Tussauds literally titled the press release “Sus-SIX degrees of separation.” I’ll let that poor joke fall right to the ground riiight where it belongs, LOL.

Madame Tussauds’ move understandably gathered a real mixed bag of reactions. Some people think it’s hilarious, while others think there are much bigger problems in the world people should focus on instead (like the life-threatening bushfires in Australia). It’s just a super-odd way to make a statement, honestly.
