A brawl at a Temple Terrace Publix is going viral after a customer recorded and posted a video of the incident online.
Jessica Jordan, 26, filmed the brawl at the grocery store on Sept. 16. She tells Fox 13 News that the victim, 59-year-old Raleigh Harris, was being ‘rude’ to a female deli worker as he was ordering a chicken dinner around 8:30 p.m. A verbal exchange escalated and Harris exploded at another employee that was trying to calm him down.
“He got really outraged and told him to mind his f****** business and kinda threw the n-word in there a few times. The guy that was ordering chicken was like running around the deli being chased by these other customers.”
According to Jordan, another customer, 25-year-old Leon Lightbody, didn’t like how Harris was speaking to the employees and that’s when fists started flying. In the video, other customers are seen joining in, punching Harris and wrestling to the ground. Lightbody was later charged with simple battery.
Spokesman for Publix Brian West says ‘this is not the norm’ at their stores and they are glad no one was seriously injured.

This is the second reported fist fight at a Publix in the last few months. Back in July, another brawl broke out at an Orlando Publix, again in the deli aisle.
