Rapper 50 Cent joins Melissa McCarthy in Spy

Curtis Jackson, better known by his stage name 50 Cent, has joined the cast of upcoming action-comedy ‘Spy’ opposite Melissa McCarthy.

The star-studded cast also includes Jude Law, Jason Statham, Rose Byrne, Bobby Cannavale, Miranda Hart and Nia Long.

Feig (Bridesmaids) will direct from a script he wrote and will produce the project alongside Jessie Henderson, Peter Chernin and Jenno Topping.

Spy will shoot in Budapest this April.

Jackson last year appeared in Escape Plan with Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger and just wrapped The Prince, a crime movie starring Bruce Willis and John Cusack.
