Richard Gere and his estranged “Bond girl” wife, Carey Lowell, are duking it out in divorce court over his estimated $126 million fortune after resolving their custody dispute over their 15-year-old son.
Richard Gere and Carey Lowell split in 2013 after over a decade of marriage and she officially filed for divorce last year.
Though sources told Page Six the exes were cordial in Manhattan Supreme Court on Friday, they still haven’t come to a financial settlement in their divorce. They have already settled the custody dispute over their 15-year-old son.
Lowell’s attorney, Robert Cohen, told Daily News of their time in court on Friday, “We had a nice chat with the judge. We’re moving along. It’s all about money.” Gere’s attorney, David Aronson, wouldn’t comment.
Lowell is an actress herself, known as a former Bond girl and for a role in Law & Order.
