Russian dairy workers have given new meaning to the term “milk bath.” A foolish, and probably drunk, nearly nude foursome decided to soak in a large vat of milk at their Trade House Cheese plant over New Year’s and they would’ve gotten away with it too …
In the photos and video clips posted a few months ago by dairy plant worker Artyom Romanov, a group of undressed employees can be seen relaxing in a large vat of milk as part of their New Year’s eve celebration.
While still partly undressed, they then demonstrated for the camera cheese making, albeit in a manner designed to be humorous.
Marina Boyko, deputy chief of the Omsk region’s sanitary inspection agency told a Russian online news publication that, “In a checkup we found the container where the workers were bathing and the bowls in which they were making cheese and a mass of other violations of sanitary-epidemic norms.
After the video appeared on TV many residents of the area stopped buying dairy products produced at the plant. A government statement said, “The production and service facilities are in an unsatisfactory sanitary-technical condition…conditions for personal hygiene are lacking.”
Russian media reported that a consumer service expert said the appalling conditions and outrageous practices at this particular dairy plant are actually quite common occurrences these days in Russia as “sanitary oversight” in the country has become virtually nonexistent.
