Sarah Jessica Parker has come under fire from a homeowners association in New York City after she staged a photoshoot for her shoe line on the steps of the house featured in her hit TV show Sex and the City.
In her first Instagram picture posted to her personal account memorializing the occasion, she’s shown dressed in jeans, heels and a wide-brimmed hat arranging a display of the “Carrie” style shoe in all its vibrant color choices on the front stairs of the Perry Street brownstone despite the “Do NOT go on staircase please” sign chained across the stairs.
Page Six reports that the owners of 66 Perry St., the address made famous by Parker’s “Sex and the City” character, installed the metal chain and sign across the stairs after enduring years of overzealous tourists.
Parker shared a few more pictures of the “Carrie” shoes in different positions on the SJP Collection Instagram, along with, “That’s a wrap ladies,” immediately followed by, “Oh no. Eek. Sorry. No. I was just talking about the shoes. Oh man. Geesh. Sorry. X Sj.”
We are speculating her remarks are a saucy gesture to those relentless “Sex and the City 3” rumors.
“It was take your @sjpcollection shoes to work day. #longdayforCarrie #whewwwwthosesteps #runninginheels #taxi!” she captioned the images.
