R&B star Rihanna has given USD 200 as a tip to a waiter in a bid to be his biggest ever tipper.
The 24-year-old ‘Diamonds’ singer caused a stir at the Laugh Factory Comedy Club here when she gave the handsome amount to a staff during a night out with her friends, reported TMZ online.
In her latest single, “Pour It Up,” Rihanna famously sings, “Lot more where that came from. I still got my money.”
The singer is no stranger to generosity. Last month she donated $1.75 million worth of equipment to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in her native Barbados, in memory of her grandparents, Clara and Lionel Brathwaite.
The Daily Mail notes that Rihanna is also known for giving exotic dancers exorbitant tips at strip clubs.
Following her 777 Tour in December to promote her latest album, “Unapologetic,” the singer seems to have been taking some down time before her Diamonds World Tour that kicks off in March.
