Singer Taylor Swift surprises kids at children’s hospital

While she’s in Australia, Taylor Swift has been spending some quality time with kids at a local hospital.

Taylor Swift helped brighten up young cancer patients’ day at Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital. The “Blank Space” singer made a surprise visit to the children’s hospital in Brisbane while she was down under with her new boyfriend Tom Hiddleston.

While her beau was shooting his new movie “Thor: Ragnarok”, she took selfies with the kids, signed autograph and wrote a note for the nurses. “To all the nurses on 11B: Thank you for all you do,” her message read. “You are amazing. Sending you my love and thanks.”

“Thank you Taylor Swift for dropping by the Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital this afternoon to give our patients and families a special surprise they’ll never forget,” the hospital wrote on Facebook. “They’ll never ‘shake off’ the memories you made tonight.”

Pictures from the hospital visit were shared by the patients’ families. A mother wrote, “Thanks Taylor for visiting and sharing your talent. My son was so excited tonight.” Another family tweeted, “@taylorswift13 thank you so much for visiting my little cousin Scotty today in hospital [heart emoji] this is amazing!”
